The Creativity Hub
The Hub Créativité was built on the site of a parking lot and a former building. Its construction was accompanied by an outdoor redevelopment project that included landscaping in the heart of the campus. It has been certified as a Mediterranean Sustainable Building (BDM).
The building’s mission is to stimulate creativity across all of the school’s activities, serving its students, staff, businesses, and the general public alike.
It features a large lobby and an open stage with 130 seats. A ramp leads to the upper levels, where there are self-service rooms for group or individual work, as well as numerous rooms and spaces designed to foster creativity. A large room that can accommodate up to 70 people provides an inspiring and ergonomic setting for hosting creativity sessions, high-quality meetings, seminars, thesis defenses, and more. The terrace, accessible from the top level, offers one of the most beautiful views of Alès and its surroundings.
The HUB is home to the incubator, the creativity facilitator, and the reception area for the Croupillac site.
On the ground floor, there is also a cafeteria open all day. On the first floor is a reading area featuring books on creativity, entrepreneurship, and technology.
The Hub is thus a true hub of activity at the Croupillac campus, where anyone can come at their leisure to relax, reflect, seek inspiration, or grab a bite to eat!
The inspiring architecture was designed by Emmanuel Nebout. The lobby is adorned with a work by Mathieu Merlet-Briand, inspired by Johannes Itten’s color wheel. It features our baseline—“Science and creativity to invent a sustainable world”—across 12 panels, a message particularly well-suited to this building.
Helioparc Campus (Pau)
The Helioparc site (located at 2 avenue Pierre Angot 64053 Pau Cedex 9) is home to a research laboratory on the Psychosensory Properties of Materials (visual aspect and touch of Materials) belonging to the Mines Alès Materials Centre (C2MA).
